Mit Ecken und Kanten GmbH wins the German Sustainability Award – first place in the consumer goods retail category

Nuremberg, October 1, 2025 – Mit Ecken und Kanten GmbH, Germany's first "Imperfect Shop®" for sustainable products, has been awarded the German Sustainability Award (DNP) in the consumer goods retail category. For its exemplary measures and products in the areas of sustainability and social responsibility, Mit Ecken und Kanten will receive Europe's most prestigious award for ecological and social commitment on December 5, 2025, in Düsseldorf. The CEOs and sustainability officers of the award-winning companies, as well as representatives from politics and the media, will be in attendance.

About Mit Ecken und Kanten

Mit Ecken und Kanten (MEUK) is Germany's first Imperfect Shop® for sustainable brands. Since 2017, MEUK has been offering sustainably and fairly produced goods with minor flaws and imperfections a second chance in its own online shop (www.miteckenundkanten.com). The goal is to correct the image of supposedly inferior B-grade or outlet goods, to raise awareness of the value of imperfect products, and to counteract resource waste. The store, which opened in Nuremberg in June 2024, makes the quality and value of the products tangible and experiential.
